By using the locking feature you can turn any question into a read-only template.

⚡ Tick the "Locked" checkbox to lock a question. All its text fields will be disabled preventing you and others from making accidental changes. You can unlock a question at any time to make further changes:

⚡ A grey label is displayed in front of the title to denote its locked state (1).

⚡ A locked question can have "canned text" in any of its text fields (2, 3, 4, etc):

⚡ To use a locked question as a template, first select the locked question (1).

⚡ Then click the duplicate button (2).

⚡ The locked question will be duplicated (3) and it will not be locked, enabling you to start making edits right away:
